SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, Feeder 
Steers and Feeder Bulls were 2.00 lower.  Feeder heifers were unevenly 
steady.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-155.00; 
500-600 lbs 129.00-138.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
135.00-150.00; 500-600 lbs 123.00-130.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 121.00-134.00; 500-600 lbs 117.00-129.00.  
Slaughter cows were 2.00 lower.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
54.00-69.00; Boners 80-85% lean 52.00-70.00; Lean 85-90% lean 52.00-
67.00; Lean low dressing 40.00-55.00.  Slaughter bulls were steady.  
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1120-2055 lbs 80.00-101.00; High 
Dressing 1560-1990 lbs 104.00; Low Dressing 1010-2135 lbs 61.00-86.00. 
   Goats: [225]  Week Ago: 228  Reported Monday to Wednesday.  
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 30.00-115.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-
145.00, 60-80 lbs 155.00-165.00; Sel 2 20-40 lbs 50.00-60.00, 40-60 lbs
Couple @ 77.50. Wethers: Slaughter Sel 1 100-150 lbs 210.00-360.00.  
Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 110.00-155.00, 70-100 lbs 125.00-135.00, 
100-150 lbs 125.00-245.00, 150-250 lbs 180.00-295.00; Sel 2 100-150 lbs 
115.00-135.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 110.00-160.00, 100-150

   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 5 cents lower; elevator bids 3.88-4.33, 
processor bids 4.13-4.33.  Soybeans were 14 cents lower; elevator bids 
9.40-9.90, processor bid 10.45, and export N/A.  Wheat bids were mostly 
steady to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 5.09-5.29.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.49 
lower at 62.95.
